Five Louisville eateries inspected between December 15–21 received a “C” grade due to critical violations, according to Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness.
In Jefferson County, restaurants are scored out of 100 points. A score of 85 or higher with no critical violations earns an “A.” A score of 84 or below, or any critical violation regardless of score, results in a “C.” Restaurants with ongoing compliance issues, such as consecutive failed inspections or closures for imminent health hazards, may receive a “B.”
Facilities that earn a “C” will be re-inspected within seven to ten days.
