TRIMARC cameras showed what appeared to be a mobile home or partially constructed structure sitting on the I-64 East ramp above the parking lot behind the Frazier History Museum in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A busy interstate ramp in downtown Louisville was temporarily closed Tuesday morning after a semi truck became stuck.

Louisville emergency officials issued a LENSAlert traffic advisory shortly after 11:30 a.m. for the ramp connecting Roy Wilkins Avenue to Interstate 64 East, after a truck hauling an oversized load became lodged in the sharp curve.

The ramp reopened around 1:45 p.m. once workers carefully maneuvered the semi to the top of the ramp and onto the interstate.

TRIMARC camera footage showed what looked like a mobile home or a section of a construction project sitting on the ramp above the parking area behind the Frazier History Museum.

The ramp is familiar to downtown commuters, as it is an elevated entrance that requires drivers to accelerate quickly to merge into fast-moving I-64 traffic.
