Man Dies After Hit-and-Run on I-264 East Ramp from Taylor Boulevard in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man has died following a hit-and-run on the Interstate 264 East ramp from Taylor Boulevard on Saturday, December 6.

Louisville Metro Police reported that officers responded just before 8 p.m. after a pedestrian was struck. Authorities believe the victim was attempting to cross the ramp when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene in an unknown direction, LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said.

The man was transported to University of Louisville Hospital with critical injuries and later died.

LMPD’s Traffic Unit is investigating the incident. No arrests have been made, and police have not released a description of the vehicle.
