2 Men Hospitalized After Shooting at Louisville’s Shawnee Park

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two men were hospitalized Monday evening following a shooting at Shawnee Park, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers responded to the park around 5:15 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.

Officers found one man shot inside a vehicle and another man nearby who had been shot in the arm. Both victims were taken to UofL Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Ellis said it’s unclear whether the two men know each other.
