LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Drivers in Louisville should prepare for several overnight ramp and intermittent lane closures over the next few days, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC).
Beginning Thursday night, the ramp from I-64 West to I-65 South will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday until 4 a.m. on Halloween, officials said.
Then on Sunday, there will be alternating lane closures on I-65 North and South between Fern Valley Road and East Broadway from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. on Nov. 3.
Additional intermittent closures are also planned for:
-
The I-65 North on-ramp from South Jackson Street
-
The I-65 North ramp from East St. Catherine Street
-
The I-65 South ramp from Jackson Street/East Magnolia Avenue
All closures are scheduled so contract crews can perform striping operations, the KYTC said.
Officials are urging motorists to follow posted signs, use caution, and consider alternate routes during the closures.
