JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — A car crashed into a doctor’s office in southern Indiana on Wednesday afternoon, causing significant damage to the building.

Police and fire crews responded around 2:40 p.m. to Louisville Foot & Ankle Specialists on Allison Lane, where they found a white Honda Accord that had struck the building.

WDRB video showed shattered glass and debris inside what appeared to be an exam room, with a damaged exam chair and exposed plumbing from a sink.

The car had already been moved back into the parking lot when reporters arrived. A man sat in the driver’s seat with his legs outside the car, and a walker was nearby.

No ambulance was seen at the scene, and officials have not released information about possible injuries or the cause of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
