One person dead following vehicle crash in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — A 54-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on Interstate 64, according to the Jeffersontown Police Department.

Detective Mike Lauder, a department spokesperson, said officers responded to the crash on I-64 West, just west of the Blankenbaker Parkway exit, at around 9:21 p.m.

Police reported that the vehicle left the roadway and crashed, and the driver, the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released, pending family notification. The crash remains under investigation.
