A Turquoise Alert has been issued for a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen in Apache Junction last week, authorities said.
According to the Apache Junction Police Department, Skyler Conville was last seen around 1:06 p.m. on Friday, June 19, at a Circle K near Meridian Drive and Superstition Boulevard.
She was wearing multi-camouflage pants, a dark gray shirt, and a hot pink bonnet. Conville is described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
Police said Conville refused to get into a family member’s vehicle after an argument in the gas station parking lot. She then walked through the parking area before security camera footage captured her getting into what appeared to be an early-2000s white Chevrolet Impala four-door sedan. The vehicle appeared to have damage to the driver’s side front bumper.
The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on Superstition Boulevard at approximately 1:07 p.m.
Security footage captured the driver, who police describe as a man in his 50s or 60s with black-and-gray hair, a beard, and dark eyes. He was wearing a gray tank top, black shorts, and black sneakers.
Anyone with information about Conville’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately or contact the Apache Junction Police Department at 480-982-8260.
Authorities issue Turquoise Alerts when a missing person is under 65 years old, law enforcement has exhausted available investigative resources, the individual is believed to be in danger or with someone who may pose a threat, and the circumstances of the disappearance are unexplained or considered suspicious.
