Pennsylvania Fugitive Apprehended at Seaford Pokémon Card Store

A 40-year-old man wanted in Pennsylvania on a felony bench warrant for alleged unlawful contact with a minor was detained at a Pokémon card hobby store in Seaford and extradited to Pennsylvania, according to Nassau County police.

Shane Michael Rossi was found in May at Pulls, a Pokémon card store at 3663 Merrick Road, according to authorities.

The Nassau County Police Department stated that it assisted the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office in Pennsylvania in Rossi’s arrest and extradition.

According to police, Rossi was wanted on a bench warrant for unlawful contact with a minor, a crime in Pennsylvania.

According to Nassau County police, Rossi owned the same type of card hobby store at the time of the alleged incident in Pennsylvania. Police did not disclose any other information about the claims or identify the Pennsylvania business.

Rossi remains in prison in Pennsylvania, according to authorities.

Due to the gravity of the allegations, Nassau County police disclosed details about the investigation on Monday, August 10. The department’s Special Victims Squad is requesting that anyone with information contact investigators at 516-573-4022.

The investigation is underway.
