A 65-year-old Indiana man who went missing on a rafting trip last week has been discovered dead.
Reid Litwack, according to the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office, was last seen on August 4 at Wild Cat Rapids in the Rogue River’s Wild and Scenic section. Family members told FOX59/CBS4 that while Litwack was in his raft, a river carried him to a clump of rocks and trapped him. As they attempted to rescue him, he was reportedly washed underwater and down the river.
Litwack’s close friend told the source that he is from Indiana, and his social media profiles show that he lives in the Indianapolis area. His family has issued the following statement:
