Buffalo Grove Teen Discovered Dead Near Chicago’s Fulton Market

A quiet pre-dawn stretch of Chicago’s West Side became the scene of a death investigation early Saturday, when police discovered a suburban adolescent motionless on West Adams Street near the Fulton Market area.

Chicago police said officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of West Adams at 3 a.m. When they arrived, they discovered a teenage boy unresponsive on the roadway. According to NBC Chicago, he was pronounced dead at the site, and an investigation into his death has begun.

While police initially said the youngster was 16, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified him as 15-year-old Antonio Crawford of Buffalo Grove. Officials have not revealed any additional information on what may have caused his death.
