All lanes reopen on I-71 south near US-42 after two crashes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – All southbound lanes of I-71 have reopened following two crashes near the six-mile marker by US-42 and another near I-265.

According to TRIMARC, the first crash near US-42 occurred just before 8:50 a.m. A second crash was reported three minutes later and involved three vehicles.

Metrosafe reported that the crash near US-42 included a motorcycle.
