KYTC reported injuries following a crash on the I-65 South ramp from the Outer Loop.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A four-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon blocked all lanes and shoulders on the I-65 South ramp from the Outer Loop.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) said the ramp remains closed, with crews expecting to clear the scene within about an hour.
Officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department’s Seventh Division responded around 4:35 p.m., where they found an unconscious adult male. Officers provided aid until EMS arrived, and crews transported the patient to the University of Louisville Hospital. Due to the severity of the injuries, LMPD’s Traffic Unit is now leading the investigation.
Authorities advised drivers to take alternate routes and use caution in the area.
