Kentucky troopers report 431 commercial vehicle violations in East Region

The Kentucky State Police recently released commercial vehicle enforcement data from January 2026, showing that hundreds of trucks were inspected across the East Region.

On March 10, 2026, troopers shared results from inspections conducted by the KSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement East Region in January.

Troopers in the East Region completed 531 commercial vehicle inspections and issued citations for 431 violations.

In addition, 18 commercial vehicle drivers were placed out of service during January.

KSP East Region also placed 52 commercial vehicles out of service during the same period.

“CVE East Region officers, troopers and inspectors work across 25 counties to keep commercial drivers, passengers, and communities safe,” Kentucky troopers said.

KSP’s East Region covers Bath, Boyd, Breathitt, Carter, Elliott, Fleming, Floyd, Greenup, Johnson, Knott, Lawrence, Leslie, Letcher, Lewis, Magoffin, Martin, Mason, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, Perry, Pike, Powell, Rowan and Wolfe counties.
