Kentucky Fugitive Arrested Friday in Buchanan County

Authorities arrested a wanted fugitive from Kentucky in the Hurley section of Buchanan County on Friday.

The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies, along with the United States Marshals Service, took 50-year-old Marty Hurley into custody in the parking lot of NAPA Auto Parts in Hurley. Kentucky authorities wanted Hurley on one count of Arson, two counts of Kidnapping of an Adult, three counts of Attempted Murder, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.

Officials transported Hurley to custody, and he remains held in Buchanan County while extradition proceedings move forward.
