Drivers can expect a heavier police presence along I-75 this weekend as troopers from three states team up to enforce traffic laws.
The “6 State Trooper Project” will run from Friday, February 14, through Sunday, February 16, along the I-75 corridor.
The Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol are taking part in the coordinated effort.
During the enforcement period, troopers will step up patrols and focus on violations such as speeding and failing to wear seatbelts.
The remaining members of the 6 State Trooper Project — Indiana State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, and West Virginia State Police — will not participate in this weekend’s operation.
