LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Preston Highway is closed in both directions near East Indian Trail after a crash Friday evening involving a Jefferson County Public Schools bus and another vehicle.
MetroSafe said the crash happened around 5:41 p.m. and knocked out power in the area. JCPS confirmed there were no students on bus No. 1168 at the time and no reported injuries.
As of about 7:15 p.m., MetroSafe said the roadway remains closed while LG&E crews work to restore power. The LG&E outage map shows around 120 customers without electricity, with restoration estimated by 10 p.m.
Preston Highway is expected to reopen Saturday morning.
