At least one person was injured following a multi-vehicle collision on northbound KY 841, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD responded to a call around 7:30 a.m. near the U.S. Highway 42 exit ramp on the Gene Snyder Freeway, spokesperson Aaron Ellis said. When officers arrived, they found a crash involving at least five vehicles. TRIMARC reported that the collision initially blocked all lanes.
One adult was transported to a local hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
“The cause of this collision is not known at this time, as we are still gathering information from those involved to determine what happened,” Ellis said. “We have reopened the far-right lane to help traffic move, but drivers should expect delays in the area due to traffic backups and as tow trucks arrive to remove the vehicles.”
