Authorities in Kentucky have identified the man who was killed in a car crash over the weekend that may be connected to a death in the area.
Early Saturday morning, authorities in Dalton responded to a house fire on Grimes Street, where they discovered the body of a woman inside the home.
Later, a woman contacted police and reported that her brother had said he killed his girlfriend at that location.
Later that day, the woman’s vehicle was located in Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police pursued the vehicle until it collided head-on with an 18-wheeler on Interstate 75.
Authorities identified the driver killed in the crash as Ryan Ebler of Indiana.
Police said Ebler was the boyfriend of the woman found dead in northwest Georgia.
