KENTUCKY — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Monday morning in Louisville’s Shawnee neighborhood.

According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers responded around 10:20 a.m. to reports of gunfire near 41st and Herman streets. When they arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his hand.

Authorities said the injury is believed to be non-life-threatening. Emergency responders treated the man at the scene, but no further details about his condition were released.

As of Monday, police said there are no known suspects, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
