JCPS bus crash in Jeffersontown sends driver to hospital; students unharmed

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A JCPS busdriver was hospitalized Wednesday after a crash in Jeffersontown, but no students were hurt.

Jeffersontown Police said crews responded just before 3 p.m. to a bus accident on Hurstbourne Parkway near Stony Brook Drive. The busdriver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Fifteen students were on board at the time of the crash. JCPS reported that all children were safely released to their families, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
