LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A person was taken to the hospital after a shooting at an apartment building in the Newburg neighborhood on Dec. 16.
Louisville police said officers were called around 3:40 p.m. to the 5300 block of Shepherdsville Road. Inside an apartment at the location, they found a person who had been shot multiple times. The victim was transported to UofL Hospital, where they are being treated for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation. No suspects have been identified at this time.
