LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Drivers traveling on northbound Interstate 65 in Louisville should prepare for a weekend lane closure as crews complete shoulder reinforcement work ahead of a larger traffic shift expected later this summer.
Officials will close a single lane on I-65 northbound between Grade Lane (milepoint 129.7) and the I-264 interchange (milepoint 130.7).
The closure is set to begin around 7 p.m. Friday, April 10, and continue until 6 a.m. Monday, April 13.
Crews are strengthening the shoulder to support a planned closure of part of I-65 later this summer, along with a related detour.
