Maryland Man Taken Into Custody In Major Drug Bust Connected To Gathering Of The Juggalos

A Silver Spring man is among several people taken into custody in Missouri as part of a large drug enforcement operation connected to the 26th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos, according to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office.

Dennis A. Pradham, 49, of Silver Spring, was detained after a roadside interdiction investigation in Camden County, police said. Deputies seized 93 pounds of marijuana, 124 pounds of mushrooms, 135.5 grams of ketamine, 33 grams of a ketamine/fentanyl cocktail, and 66.5 grams of MDMA (commonly known as ecstasy).

Pradham was charged with two charges of first-degree drug trafficking, one of which was a Class A felony and the other a Class B felony, and three counts of controlled substance distribution. According to the sheriff’s office, he is still being held without bond.

The arrest was part of a joint operation between the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force during the week-long Gathering of the Juggalos at a campground near rural Macks Creek. Authorities stated that the operation was meant to address an inflow of people and illegal drugs related with the festival.

Authorities claimed Kevin M. Jones, 45, of Easton, Pennsylvania, was detained after 128 pounds of marijuana, 2.5 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, and more than $5,000 in cash were seized. Two residents of Bear, Delaware, were also detained after deputies discovered more than 40 pounds of edibles. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, as well as other local and state organizations, will also assist with the operation.
