Over 20,000 worth of meth and cocaine found during Cambria County drug bust

Police apprehended a man on Monday after discovering him with approximately 407 grams of methamphetamine, one gram of cocaine, and drug packaging materials.

The Cambria County Drug Task Force and the Cambria County Sheriff’s Office reported seeing Luke Boring, 40, at a property on Lunen Street on Monday, August 18, according to the Cambria County District Attorney’s Office.

Boring was taken into custody after police discovered he had an active arrest warrant out. A search incident prior to arrest revealed that he was in possession of approximately 407 grams of methamphetamine (street value of $20,350), 1 gram of cocaine (street value of $100), a digital scale, and drug packaging materials.

Boring was brought to Cambria County Prison on an arrest warrant, and charges for the recovered drugs and paraphernalia will be issued shortly.

This investigation was supported by several law enforcement and state agencies, including the Cambria County Detective Bureau, Cambria County Sheriff’s Office, Richland Township Police Department, Cambria County District Attorney’s Office, Johnstown Police Department, FBI Safe Streets Task Force, and Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General BNI.
