A Maryland Lottery player won a progressive jackpot of $2,205,023 on a $30 ticket purchased in Catonsville, state lottery officials reported.
The winning FAST PLAY Ultimate Payday ticket was sold at the Exxon gas station at 6037 Baltimore National Pike in Baltimore County.
The win is the first progressive jackpot payout for the Ultimate Payday game since its inception in July 2025. Following the win, the prize was reset at $500,000 and will grow with each ticket sold until the next winning ticket is purchased.
Lottery officials instructed the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it in a secure location. FAST PLAY winners have 182 days from the purchase date to redeem their prize.
Because the payoff exceeds $25,000, the winner must collect the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, either by mail or by making an in-person appointment at the Montgomery Park Business Center.
