A man died after a firework exploded and struck his head during a July 4th party in New York.
Suffolk County police reported that Gabriel Ruiz-Urresto, 37, was lighting a firework in his garden at 9:30 p.m. when it burst and struck him in the head.
He was pronounced dead on the spot, according to authorities.
