Indianapolis police seek help finding vanished woman with dementia

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 70-year-old woman.

Marylin Sanford is described by police as standing five feet and three inches tall, with gray hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen around 8:00 a.m. Saturday on the 4900 block of Oakwood Trail, near Georgetown Road.

Marylin was last seen wearing a green jacket with patches and buttons, a teal “Rugrats” blouse, and brown Crocs shoes. Police believe she may also have two bags with her.

Marilyn was diagnosed with dementia and is unfamiliar with the Indianapolis area.

Police ask that anyone with information call 911 immediately.
