A missing Bettendorf man’s body was discovered from the Mississippi River on Tuesday morning, bringing an end to a multi-agency search.
Jamarius Johnson has been reported missing since Sunday. While an autopsy is expected to ascertain the exact cause of death, investigators have stated that no foul play is suspected.
Bettendorf Police Chief Doug Scott conveyed his sympathy to Johnson’s family and praised the first responders who helped with the search.
