LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Authorities have formally charged Larry W. Webster II in connection with a Nov. 19, 2025 incident in which he allegedly struck a minivan with his pickup truck, ran over the van’s driver, and then got into a physical confrontation with Indiana State Police Sgt. David Meyer that left the officer seriously injured.
Webster faces charges of attempted murder and being a habitual offender. During the altercation, Meyer suffered shoulder injuries that required major surgery. Investigators said Webster also attempted to take control of the officer’s weapon.
