(KFVS) — Crews restored power to hundreds of customers in the Heartland on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Tennessee Valley Authority, a system issue caused an outage affecting 855 Gibson Electric customers.
The outage impacted homes and businesses in Fulton County, Kentucky, as well as Lake and Obion counties in Tennessee.
TVA worked with Gibson Electric to restore power by 12:45 p.m.
A TVA lightning arrestor caused the outage.
