KENTUCKY — A Kentucky lottery player is celebrating a $50,000 prize after a Powerball ticket sold in the state matched key numbers in the Saturday, March 21, 2026 drawing.
The winning numbers were 12, 28, 36, 41, 59, with a Powerball of 2. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. While no ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $123 million jackpot, the Kentucky ticket matched four of the five white balls along with the Powerball to secure the $50,000 prize.
The jackpot carried an estimated cash value of $55.8 million. With no grand prize winner, the jackpot will continue to grow for the next drawing.
Officials have not yet disclosed where in Kentucky the winning ticket was sold or whether it has been claimed. Winners are advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the Kentucky Lottery to begin the claims process.
Powerball drawings take place three times a week, giving players multiple opportunities to win prizes ranging from smaller amounts to multi-million-dollar jackpots.
