A Woodford County teacher has been suspended without pay, according to media reports. The incident comes as social media posts circulate referencing President Donald Trump.

The school district has not provided specific details about the suspension, stating only that it involves a “serious situation.”

The suspension comes as an X account, Libs of TikTok, claims a Kentucky teacher threatened President Trump by saying Iran should target the president at his Mar-a-Lago home.

No official connection between the suspension and the social media claim has been confirmed. However, GOP Rep. Andy Barr posted on social media urging Woodford County officials to keep the alleged poster away from students and called for a Secret Service investigation into the claims.

Woodford schools spokesperson Elaine Bailey said the district is investigating the matter in accordance with its policies and added that, because it is a personnel issue, details must remain confidential during the process.
