KENTUCKY — A woman was found dead Monday morning in the parking lot of a senior living apartment complex in Richmond, according to Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison.
Cornelison said a passerby discovered the woman lying between two parked vehicles in the parking lot of Pebblecreek Crossing on Big Hill Avenue. Ice was reported on the ground in the area, and the coroner said the death could be related to weather conditions, though that determination will not be made until an autopsy is completed.
Foul play is not suspected, Cornelison said, and steps are being taken to schedule an autopsy. The woman’s identity has not been released as authorities work to notify her next of kin. She was a resident of Madison County.
Investigators are also reviewing surveillance camera footage from the area to help determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, according to the coroner.
