LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man was arrested Saturday night after entering the home of Louisville Metro Police Chief Paul Humphrey.

Brandon Randall, a local resident, faces charges of alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass, according to an arrest report.

Authorities said Randall briefly opened the door at Humphrey’s home, initially claiming he was at the wrong address. Court documents, however, indicate that he actually entered the residence before being confronted by someone inside, then left.

After leaving the chief’s home, neighbors reported that Randall knocked on other doors in the neighborhood. Police located him about a half mile away and took him into custody.

Randall is expected to appear in court on Wednesday morning.
