LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Four people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning inside Lenny’s Lounge in Louisville’s Klondike neighborhood, according to police.
Louisville Metro Police officers responded to the lounge in the 3700 block of Klondike Lane around 5:32 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting, said department spokesperson Matthew Sanders.
Police described the scene as chaotic and confirmed that two young adults were shot at the location. Two additional victims transported themselves to nearby hospitals but were later rerouted to UofL Hospital.
The victims include three young adults between the ages of 18 and 21, as well as a 17-year-old. Police said one of the victims remains in critical condition.
Lounge owner James Conner was arrested for violating a domestic violence order after officers found him in possession of a firearm. LMPD said that charge is not related to the shooting.
The Alcoholic Beverage Control has also launched an emergency suspension investigation.
