The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is warning drivers about lane closures on Interstate 65 South beginning Friday, Nov. 21, in Bullitt County.

The left two lanes of I-65 South will be closed from mile point 114.5 near the KY 3538/Ohm Drive connector to mile point 111.02 at KY 248/Clermont Road.

The closures will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, and continue through 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23.

Crews need the closures to repair concrete slabs along the interstate and allow them to cure properly, a process that takes about 24 hours to reach the strength needed for traffic.

Drivers are urged to follow posted traffic control signs, use caution in the work zone, and plan for potential delays and longer travel times.
