LMPD searching for suspects in southwest Louisville vehicle thefts and break-ins

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) is looking for four armed suspects seen on a home security camera stealing a vehicle in southwest Louisville, officials announced on October 11.

According to LMPD, the suspects have been targeting homes and vehicles in the Third Division during early morning hours. Recent reports of break-ins have been submitted throughout southwest Louisville, spokesperson Aaron Ellis said.

In the video shared by LMPD, the suspects are seen pushing a car out of a driveway at night, which is later driven away from the property.

The Third Division Detective Squad is investigating this incident along with other similar reports.

LMPD urges anyone with information about the suspects or their whereabouts to contact police. Residents affected by recent vehicle and home break-ins are also asked to report incidents.

The Third Division covers neighborhoods including Iroquois, Pleasure Ridge Park, Valley Station, Fairdale, Kenwood Hill, and other areas in southwest Louisville.
