A woman was taken into custody on Tuesday for allegedly stalking and sending threatening messages to her ex-husband, according to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.
According to investigators, Breah St. Vincent, 41, communicated communications to her ex-husband via phone and social media for more than three years.
According to court documents, deputies discovered communications allegedly made by St. Vincent that read, “I will stab you, I will stab you with a knife, mother f—–.”
According to authorities, the marriage has been separated for more than ten years, and the threatening communications over the last three years have been persistent and relentless.
At 2:15 a.m., deputies apprehended St. Vincent on the 3200 block of Lapey Street. Documents state that St. Vincent acknowledged to contacting her ex-husband and left a message threatening to stab him. Investigators said she also informed deputies that this wasn’t the first time she was “triggered” and sent him threatening messages.
St. Vincent was charged with harassment, threatening to harm another person, stalking, and disorderly behavior.
She is being incarcerated at the Winnebago County Jail.
