ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police responded to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital late Tuesday morning after someone dropped off an adult gunshot victim outside the facility.
The shooting happened around 10:50 a.m. near North 13th Street and Cass Avenue in the city’s Columbus Square neighborhood.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Saint Louis University’s Department of Public Safety issued an all-clear at the hospital shortly after 12:50 p.m.
