One person is dead and another injured in a crash on U.S. 60 in Stoddard County, Missouri, on May 2.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Route FF, one mile north of Essex.
A 53-year-old Essex man was driving a UTV northbound when he failed to yield and collided with a 75-year-old Georgia woman heading westbound in an SUV.
The Stoddard County coroner pronounced the UTV driver dead at 1:47 p.m.
The Georgia woman was transported by EMS to a Cape Girardeau medical facility.
According to MSHP Sgt. Clark Parrott, the westbound lanes were closed but have since reopened.
