Glasgow man killed in two-vehicle crash near KY 90

GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) —
A Glasgow man died following a two-vehicle crash early this morning involving a semi-truck.

Just after 5 a.m., Kentucky State Police Post 03 in Bowling Green received a report of a fatal collision.

Troopers responded to the intersection of Happy Valley Road (KY 90) and Flint Knob Road.

A preliminary investigation shows that a black 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 41-year-old Timothy Parson of Glasgow, was traveling west on Happy Valley Road when it crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound 2022 Peterbilt commercial vehicle driven by 32-year-old Rayen Hicks of Sellersburg, Indiana.

The Barren County Coroner pronounced Parson dead at the scene.

Trooper Grant Roberson is leading the ongoing investigation.

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office, Barren County Coroner’s Office, Barren County EMS, and other Kentucky State Police personnel assisted at the scene.
