KENTUCKY — One person has died following a three-vehicle crash that shut down a major roadway in Whitley County, Kentucky, according to authorities.
The Whitley County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened along Cumberland Falls Highway near the Creekstone subdivision between Corbin, Kentucky and Cumberland Falls.
Officials confirmed that one person was killed in the crash. The highway was closed in both directions as emergency crews responded.
Authorities also reported that a deputy heading to the scene was involved in a separate crash when a cruiser collided with a school bus nearby. Only minor injuries were reported in that incident.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
