Louisville (WAVE) — Police are investigating after a woman arrived at UofL Hospital with a gunshot wound to her wrist early Monday morning.

Officers responded to the hospital shortly before 1 a.m. on Feb. 16 after she arrived for treatment. When police spoke with her, she said someone shot her while she was driving near 38th Street and Market Street.

She is expected to survive.

Louisville Metro Police is asking anyone with information about the incident to call its anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD or submit a tip through its Online Tip Portal.

Police have not identified any suspects.
