LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A three-vehicle crash on I-71 South just past I-265 is causing significant delays, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The crash occurred around 9:08 p.m. Wednesday and is blocking the left lane, left shoulder and right shoulder. Authorities estimate delays could last about an hour.
MetroSafe confirmed injuries were reported, though the severity has not been released. One of the vehicles involved was a semi hauling steel, and one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Louisville Metro Police Department’s 8th Division is investigating the crash. Drivers are advised to use caution and expect delays in the area.
