KENTUCKY — A woman was killed early Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash in Christian County, authorities said.
According to Hopkinsville Fire/EMS, crews responded shortly after midnight to a reported collision in the 1000 block of Skyline Drive in Hopkinsville.
Officials said the crash was a head-on collision that happened directly in front of Hopkinsville Fire Station No. 2. One of the drivers, a 40-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County coroner.
The second driver was not injured and declined medical treatment or transport by EMS, officials confirmed.
The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. No additional information has been released at this time.
