NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Strong storms are expected Tuesday across Southern Kentucky and parts of Middle Tennessee.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (1/5) for northern Middle Tennessee counties within News 2’s viewing area and for all of Southern Kentucky.
There will be low-end threats for wind, hail, heavy rain, and even an isolated tornado.
Storms are expected to develop by mid-morning and continue through the afternoon and evening. Forecasts show the system moving out after midnight.
More rain and storms are on the way later this week. Thursday and Friday are expected to be warm and stormy, with some areas picking up 1 to 2 inches of total rainfall.
