Two scratch-off tickets worth more than $8 million combined have been sold in a single county, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
A winning $500,000 for Life scratch-off was sold at the Kesari BP station on East Warrington Avenue in Pittsburgh. That ticket is a $20 game with a top prize of $500,000 per year or $7.25 million cash.
The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning scratch-off.
In addition, a $1 million Game Show Experience scratch-off was sold at Bellevue Tobacco & News on Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue. That was a $30 scratch-off with a $1 million jackpot.
The retailer will get a $5,000 incentive for selling the ticket.
The lottery warns players that scratch-off winnings expire one year from the game’s end-of-sale date, which is displayed at palottery.com.
