A Park Forest man was sentenced to one year in federal prison after threatening immigration authorities on the social media app Bluesky.
According to federal prosecutors, Stover made the following post on July 7, 2025.
“I 700% am past that playtime [expletive]. I mean kill the nazi rapist pigs to the absolute last one and kill their friends and families too. No mercy for Nazism in my [expletive] country. Hurt the people and get hunted like a rat until your last desperate minutes, which will be slow if I can help it.”
In a plea declaration, he stated that the tweet included a threat to injure immigration authorities.
Prosecutors claimed that Stover had previously posted similar posts encouraging violence against government officials, including ones in which he donned face paint and exhibited a rifle.
He pled guilty earlier this year to a federal charge of communicating a threat in interstate commerce.
Although the information was released on Tuesday, he was sentenced to one year in federal prison on September 9.
