The Florida Missing Child Alert issued for six Daytona Beach children has been canceled, and the children have been found safe.
ORIGINAL: Authorities have issued a Florida Missing Child Alert for six youngsters who were last seen in Daytona Beach and may be going through Georgia with two adults.
According to authorities, the children were last seen along the 100 block of South Ridgewood Avenue in Daytona Beach.
Missing children include:
- Pervis Sylvester, 4, a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. His height and weight are currently unknown.
- Logan Laws, 7, a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. His height and weight are unknown.
- Jayloni Laws, 9, a Black female with brown hair and brown eyes. Her height and weight are unknown.
- Lorenzo Laws, 10, a Black male described as 4 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 53 pounds. He has a vertical scar on his forehead and cold sores around his mouth.
- Alayla Laws, 11, a Black female described as 4 feet 9 inches tall and 68 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
- Onzerel Laws, 13, a Black female described as 4 feet 10 inches tall and 83 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
According to police, the children may be traveling with two adults: Joia Shepard, a 5-foot-tall, 130-pound Black female with brown hair, brown eyes, and a freckle behind her right eye, and Pervis Sylvester, a 6-foot-tall, 200-pound Black male with dreadlocks, black hair, and brown eyes.
According to officials, the group may currently be in Georgia. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the children or adults should contact the Daytona Beach Police Department at 386-671-5100 or call 911 immediately.
